bury saints in the community

The Bury Saints are committed to giving back to the local area and throughout the season we aim to support worthy causes and community groups by attending and helping to promote their events.

Below is a sample of our work in the community.  If you would like to book the Bury Saints to attend your event, you can contact us here.

Liquid Youth Group

Saints players visited the Liquid Youth Group in Southgate Church, catering to children and young people from the Hardwick/Nowton estate, but open to all.

They aim to support, encourage and engage young people while promoting Christian values and invited the Saints along to introduce the group to American Football.

“Having the Bury Saints here was great for our group.  The passion they showed for the game was inspiring and the interaction with our young people was brilliant.  I know they went home buzzing from the session, and hopefully, if they only take away one thing from the event, it is the way the team work together to achieve results”.

Liquid youth meet at Southgate Community Centre from 19:00 to 21:00 every Monday evening.  For more information, contact Family and Community Worker Alison Burgess:

Fundraising for West Suffolk Hospital

Saints players attended West Suffolk Hospital's "It's a Knockout" event running games and competitions for the whole family to help raise funds towards a new Cancer diagnosis machine.
